This piece is part of my ongoing 6x9 Spectrum Swimmers collection — a vibrant underwater mini‑series exploring emotion, and color through expressive fish forms. Each work is created on premium black pastel paper, allowing the gradients, dots, and bubbles to glow with a luminous, almost floating quality. These pieces are small, energetic, and full of personality, designed to bring a spark of color to any space.
 
 
Artist Notes
I build each fish with layered gradients, intuitive mark‑making, and small bursts of color that feel alive on the page. The bubbles and dotwork are placed intentionally to create rhythm and movement, giving each creature its own mood and story. No two are alike — each one is a standalone original within the series.
